Thursday - Sunday

Denver Auto Show

What: Considering a new car or truck this year?  This is the premier showcase for the newest vehicles to suit every budget and lifestyle.  Compare prices and features, and visit with factory and vehicle representatives in a no-pressure environment.  Plus, you’ll get a sneak peek at selected intros, concepts and tricked out cars.  Stroll the showroom floor, sit in the cars, pop the hoods, and kick the tires.  It’s great entertainment for both the serious shopper and the car buff.

Where: Colorado Convention Center, 700 14th Street, Denver, Colo. 

When: Thursday-Friday: 12 p.m.-10 p.m.; Saturday: 10 a.m.-10 p.m.; and Sunday: 10 a.m.-6 p.m. 

Admission: $12 – Adults; $6 – Kids 6-12 years; Kids under 6 years are free.

Denver Home Show

What: Planning to remodel, update or simply need help finishing your honey-do list?  This is your one-stop-shop, your chance to visit with companies ready to introduce new technologies and trends in home improvements and landscaping. There will be no excuses after attending this show.

Where:  National Western Complex, 4655 Humboldt Street, Denver, Colo.

When: Friday and Saturday: 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; Sunday: 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Celestial Seasonings Factory Tour

What: Did you know you can tour Colorado’s very own Celestial Seasonings Factory for free?  Factory tours run every hour Monday through Sunday.  And every tour includes a whiff of the Mint Room, guaranteed to clear any stuffy nose.  Afterwards, be sure to visit the sampling bar with over 100 kinds of tea to taste.  Note that kids must be at least 5 years old to tour the factory floor.
