Now, more than ever, hope is essential. This is especially true for hundreds of children battling critical illnesses across Colorado who are waiting for their one true wish. This year, to protect the safety of our community Make-A-Wish® Colorado is replacing its annual gala with a week-long online auction.
Anyone can help bring transformation to wish kids and their families by joining the Hope Is Essential online auction, presented by Alpine Bank. Bidding begins Friday, Aug. 7 at noon and goes through Sunday, Aug. 16 at 6 p.m.
Funds raised through the Hope Is Essential auction will help to grant the local wishes Make-A-Wish Colorado can safely grant now: adaptive bikes, car restorations, room makeovers, shopping sprees and more. It will also help the organization prepare for the day they can safely grant the wishes that have been postponed because of COVID-19.
