UPDATE: Thanks to the generosity of more than 9,500 donors, over $1.3 million was raised for 1,336 local nonprofits on #GivingTuesdayNow, proudly presented in Colorado by Community First Foundation and Denver7.

Now more than ever, it’s important to give where you live. On Tuesday, May 5, Denver7 and Community First Foundation are teaming up for #GivingTuesdayNow, an international day of giving and unity to support the unprecedented needs caused by COVID-19.

Coloradans are invited to support nonprofits on #GivingTuesdayNow, by visiting ColoradoGives.org, which features more than 2,600 nonprofit organizations, including many local COVID-19 relief funds. All of the nonprofits on this site are registered 501(c)3 organizations and are in good standing with the state of Colorado, so you can feel good about where your donation goes. You can also donate to multiple nonprofits in one transaction, making it fast, easy and convenient.

Nonprofits interested in participating in Giving Tuesday Now can utilize a customized toolkit created by Community First Foundation. This toolkit is designed to help nonprofits build awareness of their organization’s participation in the day. It’s free to use and available at ColoradoGives.org/GTNtoolkit.

#GivingTuesdayNow is similar to Colorado Gives Day (a statewide movement to celebrate and increase philanthropy), with an even greater sense of urgency to rally quickly and respond to community and social services that will help ease the suffering of those affected by COVID-19.

Join Denver7 and Community First Foundation and give where you live on #GivingTuesdayNow by visiting ColoradoGives.org.
