Williams posted 20.5 tackles for a loss, 8.5 sacks and 11 quarterback hurries for his college career..
John Elway, the team's executive vice president of football operations, tweeted, "Thrilled to select DT Sylvester Williams from UNC. His position has been a need for us and he will be a tremendous anchor for our DL."
Defensive end Robert Ayers tweeted, "Welcome to the Denver Broncos Sylvester Williams, and welcome to the D Line.. Looking forward to putting this work in wit ya big fella."
