BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A woman who was featured for having one of the first babies of 2014 was arrested after appearing on the news in California.
Robin Howard had a warrant for her arrest and after appearing on the news, officials said they were able to locate her and arrest her.
Howard's attorney, Mark Raymondo, said that Howard was already technically in custody serving in the "Baby and Me" program when a warrant surfaced for a separate, older, drug-related charge.
Raymondo said she was doing well in the program and that officials knew she was in the program and were the ones who put her in the program, 23 ABC reported.
Howard was separated from her child for three days. Her case was filed in December and that's when the warrant was issued. She had been a part of the program since the summer, Raymondo said.
Her bail was originally set at $92,000 and dropped to $25,000. Raymondo said he hopes that she can get out and be reunited with her child.
