CHEYENNE - The two-year-old girl who sparked a media alert in Colorado has been found safe, according to Cheyenne police.
Cheyenne police posted this message on their Twitter page late early Wednesday morning: “We found Misty Stricker and Angeleana Tyler here in Cheyenne at 1410 E Fox Farm Rd #18. Angeleana is safe, thank you to everyone for the help!”
The Colorado State Patrol asked believed the toddler was taken by her mother in Cheyenne, Wyo., and might have headed through Colorado on their way to Mexico.
The mother, Misty Stricker, 34, does not have custody of Angeleana, but had a visit with her daughter Tuesday afternoon at Safe Harbor, a children's home in Cheyenne.
Stricker took Angeleana and ran off around noon, police said.
