Snowstorm triggers highway closures

Snowstorms and related accidents have caused off-and-on highway closures across Colorado on Wednesday.

Because of conditions:

Eastbound I-70 closed from Limon to Kansas at 10:16 p.m.

I-25 closed in both directions from Walsenburg to the New Mexico state line due to adverse conditions at 8:37 p.m.

U.S. 6 at Loveland Pass closed at 4:27 p.m., the Colorado Department of Transportation says.

U.S. 40 closed in both directions from Limon to Kit Carson at 10:14 p.m.

U.S. 287 closed in both directions from CO-14 to Laramie at 5:26 a.m.
