CENTENNIAL, Colo. - A small plane registered to an aviation club flipped on the north side of Centennial Airport Wednesday.
The Diamond DA 20-C1, a small single engine plane, ended up with its wheels pointing skyward and visible damage to the canopy and propeller.
Becky OGuin, spokeswoman for South Metro Fire, said the plan had just landed with an instructor and a trainee aboard when they lost control for an unknown reason. They traveled into a ravine before the plane flipped over.
Both passengers suffered minor injuries.
According to the FAA registry, the plane belongs to the 5280 Flying Club LLC, in Denver.
The FAA is investigating the crash.
