DENVER - Police are looking for a bandit who has hit numerous "At The Beach" tanning salons in the metro area.
Investigators say five shops in Denver, Arvada and Westminster have been burglarized between September and the end of October. Four tanning salons were hit on Halloween, shortly after closing, and some stores have been hit more than once.
Police believe the burglaries are linked to the same person but they say he hasn't forced his way into a single store. So the question is, how is he getting in?
Investigators are working on the theory that he may have his own key that works on more than one lock.
In the meantime, managers of the "At The Beach" shops that have been hit say they're increasing security and releasing video and pictures of the culprit.
In one surveillance video obtained by 7NEWS, he can be seen walking around the store, digging through cabinets.
The burglar is described as a white man in his 20s, seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
If he looks familiar to you, call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867). You can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a $2,000 reward.
