Rallies planned for Dylan Redwine's birthday next week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - A boy who was last seen at his father's house in southwest Colorado in November is due to turn 14 next week.

The Gazette reports his supporters have planned rallies for Dylan Redwine on Wednesday in Monument, Colo., where his mother lives; Bayfield, Colo., where he once lived; and Farmington, N.M. to mark his 14th birthday on Feb. 6.

Dylan's mother, Elaine Redwine, plans to attend the gathering in Monument.

Dylan disappeared Nov. 19 from his father's house in Vallecito, near Bayfield, while on a court-ordered visit over Thanksgiving break.  Surveillance cameras photographed Dylan at the airport and at the Walmart in Durango.

His father, Mark Redwine, has told investigators that when he left home early to do some errands that day, Dylan was asleep. He says that was the last time he saw Dylan.

The father reported his missing son to police later that day.

Dylan was last seen wearing a black Nike shirt, black basketball nylon shorts, black Jordan tennis shoes, and a two-tone blue and white Duke Blue Devils baseball hat.
