Fire forces evacuations at the Cedar Pointe Condominiums in Glendale

GLENDALE, Colo. - Several families were evacuated on Monday when a garage caught fire in Glendale.

The fire, at Kentucky Avenue and Dahlia Street was first reported at 6:23 a.m. on Monday. That's about two blocks from Infinity Park.

Denver Fire told 7NEWS they were able to contain the fire to a garage at the Cedar Pointe Condominiums.

Most of the evacuees were allowed to go back home after about 25 minutes.

No one was hurt.

This is the fourth fire in Glendale in seven weeks.

On December 14, a large apartment complex that was under construction caught fire. Damage from that fire is estimated at more than $12 million.

Last week, there were two fires in Glendale -- a fire on an apartment balcony and a shed fire.
