10:57 a.m.: Denver Public Works says all 70 of its plows are out moving snow and applying de-icing material today.
10:48 a.m. The 24/7 Weather team says Denver is one of the coldest places across the country today! 10 in Denver today. 35 in Seattle. 38 in Bangor, Maine. 30 in Minneapolis.
10:30 a.m. Loveland Pass has reopened!
10:10 a.m. Heavy snow has forced the U.S. ski team to cancel the men's ski team downhill training today at Beaver Creek.
10 a.m.: DIA UPDATE: Snow continues to fall at DIA. They've received about one inch and expect another 1-2 inches by 4 p.m. 10 snow removal teams are working on the airfield. Pena Blvd. is wet and slightly snowy.
9:40 a.m. Brrr! Denver Zoo says it will not be opening today.
9:40 a.m.: Mount View Fire Rescue says Eric Country Christmas' and Parade has been canceled due to extreme cold.
9:32 a.m.: Aurora Sentinel newspaper reporting that officers are asking for deicer at Smoky Hill and Tower. Cars sliding through the intersection.
9:22 a.m.: Driver tweets: Avoid the hill on Wadsworth, just south of I-70. People are sliding and can't get traction.
9:16 a.m.: SNOW TOTALS: Evergreen & Estes Park 12 inches, Fort Collins 7 inches, NW Denver 4 inches.
9:12 a.m.: The 24/7 Weather Center reporting 3-5 inches across the metro area. Much heavier in the foothills.
9:08 a.m.: 7NEWS meteorologist Lisa Hidalgo reporting -2 degrees in Black Hawk.
8:49 a.m.: SKI REPORT: Telluride reporting 2 inches of new storm since their early morning snow report. 10 inches since the lifts closed yesterday.
8:35 a.m.: DIA says both parking garages are full.
8:31 a.m.: SCHOOL UPDATE: Clear Creek School District RE-1 was delayed today, now closed today.
8:24 a.m.: CDOT says U.S. 160/Wolf Creek Pass closed due to adverse conditions. No reopen time.
8:21 a.m.: &NEWS reporter Tyler Lopez tweeted: Southbound I-25 at Evans bridge. Horrendous traffic. No wrecks so far. Just volume/snow.
8:12 a.m.: Big flakes outside the channel 7 studios at Speer & Lincoln in Denver.
8:08 a.m.: Another band of snow passing through a northeast line from Lakewood, through Denver, to the eastern plains along I-76.
8:07 a.m. Viewer Elizabeth in Evergreen says she's had at least 12 inches of snow.
8:05 a.m. City of Aurora says rollover crash on Powhaton north of 6th Avenue. No delays on 6th.
7:50 a.m.: SKI REPORT: Crested Butte reporting 16 inches of snow.
7:40 a.m. How bad it is outside? CDOT tweets a photo showing a snow plow stuck on Wolf Creek Pass (Highway 160) in southern Colorado.
7:35 a.m.: Douglas County Sheriff's Office is now on accident alert.
7:29 a.m.: 7NEWS' Dayle Cedars says it's 4 degrees and they were moving 3-5mph from Castle Rock into Denver.
7:20 a.m. 7NEWS meteorologist Lisa Hidalgo in the 24/7 Weather Center says it is 5 degrees at Denver's City Park. With the wind chill, it feels like -6.
7:15 a.m. 7NEWS meteorologist Kirsten Horne just saw a second jogger in Boulder. It's 8 degrees outside.

6:49 a.m.: RTD says: Starting to experience minor delays on local routes especially 122x and 120x and longer delays on mountain routes.
6:45 a.m.: Snow report for skiers: 9 inches on Aspen, 6 on Snowmass.
6:43 a.m. Jayson Luber traffic: Long crawl on EB 470 across Highlands Ranch. Snowy but you can see the lanes.
6:21 a.m.: Jayson Luber traffic: It looks like the crash on SB 25 after 84th is clear. New one reported near I-70 & Kipling.
6:18 a.m.: CU Boulder tweet: Snowfall in Boulder not as heavy as expected but metro area commute will be slower than normal. Allow extra time getting to class/work. (Classes at CU Boulder & Denver are going on scheduled.)
6:17 a.m. Snow totals from the 24/7 Weather Team: Meeker 9.1", Steamboat Springs 8.3", Fort Collins 3.5", Littleton 2 inches.
6:15 a.m.: SCHOOL CLOSING: Aspen School District.
6:12 a.m.: SCHOOL DELAY: The Colorado Media School will be opening at 9:30 a.m.
6:06 a.m.: The crash on SB 25 after 84th is still in traffic. 45 minute delay from 120th.
6 a.m.: 2 crashes in Castle Rock. One on the ramp from Founders to NB 25. The other just up the road on I-25, according to traffic reporter Jayson Luber.
5:51 a.m.: Crash reported on SB I-25 after 84th Ave, before Hwy 36. Solid jam from 120th.
5:48 a.m.: Buckey AFB: 1 hour delay for all non-essential personnel
5:47 a.m.: SCHOOL DELAY: Colorado High School Charter delayed 2 hours.

5:30 a.m. CU Boulder campus is open & operating on its regular schedule today, Wednesday 12/4.
5:25 a.m. Colorado State University in Fort Collins said all classes and activities are non a normal schedule.
5:23 a.m. 7NEWS Traffic Reporter Jayson Luber reporting a rollover crash on WB I-76 near Hwy 85.
5:22 a.m. CDOT employee told 7NEWS meteorologist Kirsten Horne that roads were about what he expected. Expect icy and snowpacked roads.
5:15 a.m. 3-4 inches of snow covering all the neighborhood streets in Ft. Collins.

5:14 a.m.: City of Aurora tweet: "Public Works crews are out but roads could be slick. Leave early. Drive slow. Be safe. Stay warm."
