Aurora crash injures 1, knocks out power along Buckley Road

AURORA, Colo. - One person was injured and power was knocked out to nearly 70 customers when a car hit a utility pole in Aurora Friday evening.

The crash happened just before 9 p.m in the area of South Buckley Road and East Floyd Avenue.   

There were four adults and two children in the car when it hit the pole.  An elderly woman in the car was injured, police said.

Power was knocked out on Buckley Road between Hampden and Floyd.

An Xcel power outage map showed 68 customers without power in that area.

Power is expected to be restored by 1 a.m.
