GLENDALE, Colo. - Glendale homicide investigators are using a bomb squad robot Friday to search intake pipes along Cherry Creek where the body of a Denver man was found last week.
Police say the death of 55-year-old Henry Cyrell Thomas is being investigated as a homicide.
A passerby reported Thomas' body on the creek bank near Cherry Street at about 4 p.m. on March 8, police said.
A weapon was found at the scene and evidence indicates the victim was not alone, police said. An autopsy did not determine how Thomas died.
The Arapahoe County Bomb Squad is assisting police, using their robot to search the creek's intake pipes for possible evidence.
Investigators also plan to canvass the area at the same time Thomas' body was found in hopes of encountering people who might have seen something last Friday.
