Current Warnings and Watches: A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY has been issued for most of the Colorado mountains for Saturday and early Sunday. Snow will accumulate to 4-8 inches at elevations above 10,000 feet by Sunday morning.


Your 24/7 Synopsis:
A stubborn deck of low clouds and fog remains over the Denver area, the foothills and the adjacent plains, keeping the weather cool and damp. To the south, skies will be partly cloudy and the temperatures will be milder. A storm system will swing across the central Rockies today and tonight, dropping some snow in the mountains and showers and thunderstorms across the plains.

Cloudy and cool with temperatures ranging from the upper 30s to near 50 on the south side of the urban corridor.

METRO DENVER:

Today:Mostly cloudy, with areas of fog and showers likely. Highs in the low to mid 40s.
Tonight: Cloudy and cold with a mix of rain and snow - up to an inch possible on grassy surfaces. Lows in the low 30s.
Sunday:Cloudy with a chance of a rain/snow mix early, then partly cloudy in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 40s to low 50s, lows in the low 30s.
Monday:Partly cloudy and continued cool. Highs in the 50s, lows in the low 30s.

EASTERN PLAINS:

Today:Mostly cloudy with showers likely and some afternoon thunderstorms possible. Highs in the mid 40s to mid 60s.
Tonight: Cool and cloudy with scattered showers, lows in the mid 30s and low 40s.
Sunday:Cloudy and cool with scattered showers possible in the morning, clearing and windy in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 40s and 50s, lows in the 30s.
Monday:Partly cloudy and continued cool. Highs in the 50s, lows in the low 30s.

MOUNTAINS:

Today:Becoming cloudy and cold with rain and snow showers. Highs in the upper 30s to mid 40s.
Tonight:Windy and chilly with snow showers. Snow may accumulate to 4-8 inches above 10,000 feet. Lows in the upper 20s to mid 30s.
Sunday:Mostly cloudy and cold with scattered rain and snow showers. Highs in the 30s and 40s, lows in the teens and 20s.
Monday:Partly cloudy and continued cool. Highs in the 40s, lows in the low 20s.

WESTERN SLOPE:

Today:Mostly cloudy and cool with showers likely. Highs in the mid 50s.
Tonight:Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers. Lows in the 30s.
Sunday: Partly cloudy with a few showers possible. Highs in the 50s, lows in the 30s.
Monday:Partly cloudy and continued cool. Highs in the 50s, lows in the low 30s.
