Partly cloudy and cool. Current temperatures in the upper 40s.

Your 24/7 Synopsis:

Slightly warmer-than-normal temperatures will be in place through the first of the weekend. Clouds will begin to build around the state Saturday afternoon as the next storm approaches. This front will bring some light snow to the mountains late Saturday. When the storm moves through the Front Range Sunday, temperatures will drop into the 40s. Only light rain and snow are expected Sunday night through Monday along the I-25 Corridor.

METRO DENVER:

Today: Mostly sunny with increasing clouds late in the day. Highs will be in the mid 50s.
Tonight: Mostly clear skies with lows in the upper 20s.
Sunday: Partly cloudy through the afternoon. Slight chance of light snow in the evening. High: Mid to upper 40s. Low: low to mid 20s.
Monday: Mostly cloudy skies with a chance for rain and light snow. Highs will be in the low 40s with lows in the low 20s.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy skies with highs around 50 degrees. Lows will be in the mid 20s.

NORTHEASTERN PLAINS:

Today: Mostly sunny with increasing clouds late in the day. Highs will be in the mid 50s.
Tonight: Partly cloudy and breezy with lows in the upper 20s.
Sunday: Partly cloudy early, then mostly cloudy in the evening with a slight chance of light rain and snow. High: Mid to upper 40s. Low: mid 20s.
Monday: Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of rain or snow. Highs will be in the low 40s. Lows will be in the upper teens.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 40s and lows in the low 20s.

MOUNTAINS:

Today: Partly cloudy with a chance of rain/snow. High: 30s and 40s.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low: Upper teens to mid 20s.
Sunday: Snow likely. High: Low 30s. Low: teens and single digits.
Monday: Mostly sloudy with a chance of snow. Highs will be in the low 30s with lows in the single digits.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy with highs in the upper 30s and lows in the upper teens.

WESTERN SLOPE:

Today: Mostly sunny in the morning with increasing clouds. High: Upper 40s and low 50s.
Tonight: Mostly clear with lows in the low to mid 20s.
Sunday: Partly cloudy with a slight chance of light rain/snow. High: Mid 40s. Low: low 20s.
Monday: Mostly sunny with highs in the low 40s and lows in the upper teens.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 40s and lows in the low 20s.

We are watching a storm system that will bring light snow to the state by Sunday and Monday, but it does not appear to be a very potent storm system. Dry and mild weather will return for Tuesday through Thanksgiving Day.

The Climate Prediction Center's forecast for the next 8-14 days (November 28 - December 5) is calling for below average temperatures and below average precipitation.
