The 24/7 Nowcast: A gusty afternoon for the foothills and mountains. Temperatures now in the 50s up and down the front range.

The 24/7 Forecast Summary: Gusty winds will still be an issue for the foothills and mountains east of the Divide through midweek as a northwest flow sets up over the state. This pattern will be responsible for more heavy mountain snow, especially north of Interstate 70. Meanwhile, mild and dry weather will result for Denver and the eastern plains. The warmth will be short-lived as the next cold front moves in tomorrow. Expect colder 30s on Thursday with some brief light morning snow.

Today: Another windy, warmer day with highs in the low 60s.
Tonight:Increasing clouds with light snow possible by daybreak. Lows in the low 30s.
Thursday: Colder, with a chance of light snow. Less than a half-inch of snow is possible. Highs in the 30s.
Friday: Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 40s.
