DENVER — Quiet weather for Colorado in the wake of our snowstorm. As high pressure settles in, you'll notice a big warmup this week. After highs in the 40s for Monday, highs will be in the 70s by Thursday.

Expect overnight lows tonight to be below freezing in the mid 20s, however, we'll have partly cloudy skies.

On Tuesday as Spring begins, warmer weather starts to move in. We'll have sunshine with highs in the low to mid 50s. We will also have much less wind as our melting continues.

By Wednesday look for more sunshine with highs in the 60s.

It will be very spring-like by the end of the week. Our highs will be in the low to mid 70s by Thursday and Friday. There may be a slight chance of showers for Friday, but the models still disagree on where that rain will go. For now, we will count on the warm air to show up!

Looking ahead- we could still use more snow... In the mountains, the snow-pack is roughly at 70 percent of normal for the season, with the southern mountain areas in the worst shape. The next chance for more moisture looks to be by the end of the week in the high country. Stay tuned!
