A tropical wave exiting the coast of Africa on July 23rd would become Tropical Storm Harvey several days later on August 3rd.

It passed within 45 miles of Bermuda on the 4th while moving east-northeast. Bermuda reported sustained winds of 37 MPH and gusts to 51 MPH as Harvey passed by to the south-southeast.

It's peak intensity reached 65 MPH.

Harvey made a northeast turn on the 6th and headed out to sea, losing tropical characteristics by the 8th of August.
