The weather page on TheDENVERChannel.com is a comprehensive and educational one-stop shop for the best local weather coverage available on the web. Below is a detailed guide to each section contained within the blue sub-navigation menu on the left of this page.

  • My 24/7 Weather -- A free point-and-click service that gives you an hourly forecast for anywhere you want to travel within the Denver Metro, State of Colorado, or the United States. We even have selected cities for Mexico and Canada available. This is a fantastic tool for the business traveler, the vacationing family, or the soccer-parent who must travel across town tonight for that important game.

  • Current Conditions -- Current conditions from around the area. Even though just 3 cities are highlighted, dozens more are available in the pull down menu below Broomfield's current report.

  • FutureCast -- A 36-hour forecast for Colorado, available in three-hour steps. This is our exclusive forecast model ran in the 24/7 Weather Center at 7NEWS. It shows you forecasted clouds, precipitation, and winds. The winds are shown by directional vectors. The longer the vector, the stronger the forecasted winds.

  • Severe Weather -- When the weather turns stormy, this is a must see page! The thumbnails across the top give you a graphical view of current watches, warnings, or advisories in effect for the nation, state, or Denver Metro. Then below this you will see a text listing of all areas in Colorado currently affected by an active weather alert. Click the area of interest and it will display the text of the active watch, warning, or advisory.

  • Satellite Views -- A handy page when you want to get a feel for what is happening around the nation. This time of year we often look to the Gulf of Alaska for developing storm systems. The default image is the United States, and you can change the view by clicking on any of the seven gold buttons below. If you want a larger view for any image, just click it.

  • Radar Views -- Likely to become another favorite! No other website that we know of provides you with an easier way to view the current weather situation around Colorado like this page. With just 6 clicks you can travel from the northeast to southwest, and the northwest to southeast...or the central mountains to the state overview! Just like the satellite views, the new image will pop into the viewer. If you want a large image just click the radar and it will open for you.

  • Weather Maps -- We offer you over 85 weather maps covering everything from the tropics and marine temperatures to regional satellite and radar views around the United States.

  • Digital Album -- A gathering place for 7NEWS viewers to share Colorado's exciting weather with all of t.v. land!

  • Live Cameras -- Letting you see elsewhere across Colorado without even leaving your house!

  • Travel Weather -- Have travel plans soon? Worried about the weather at your destination? This page allows you to interactively click on most major US airports to see the current arrival and departure status. You can also use My 24/7 Weather for a forecast.

  • Weather Glossary -- Learn nearly 1,000 different weather terms! If you have additions please feel free to let us know.

  • Weather News -- Get the latest weather news, weather quizzes, and more!

  • Closings -- Learn about current closings or sign up to be notified by email if delays or closings are issued for your area.

  • Almanac -- Get highs, lows, sunrise and sunset information, or current moonrise and moonset data. You may also search for historical weather data on this page.

  • Ski Reports -- Find out the latest ski information not only for Colorado Resorts, but also for any resort in the nation!

  • Mike's Blog -- A daily weather journal full of facts, trivia, safety tips, storm reports, and more!

  • Weather Tools -- You are here now! A detailed guide on how to use the weather page of TheDENVERChannel.com!

  • Mike's Kid Cam -- A video journal of Mike Nelson's school visits, shown on television after his visit and archived here on TheDENVERChannel so all your friends and loved ones can see.

Please feel free to contact us anytime with your feedback. Stay tuned for continued excitement from the 24/7 Weather Center and 7NEWS, including current conditions displayed on the web from our weather station.

Have you thought about making our weather page your computer's home page? If you need help, just let us know and we'll be glad to assist.
