Snow is expected in the High Country, where a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect through Midnight Monday night. 4 to 8 inches of accumulation are possible in the northern and central mountains by Monday afternoon. For the Denver area, this weather system will bring cooler temperatures, but only a slight chance of snow due to downsloping winds from the northwest and dry air near the surface. A little light snow may fall in the foothills. By Tuesday, high pressure will be in charge over Colorado, bringing fair weather through the Thanksgiving weekend. Temperatures will slowly moderate from the lower 40s on Monday, to near 60 by Friday. Thanksgiving Day in Denver should be sunny and dry.
