Light showers, with calm winds across the region. Temperatures are in the upper 70s. Showers and storms are developing along the Front Range foothills this afternoon, and moving to the southeast, with some storms heading for the urban corridor. Heavy rain and hail will be the primary threats with these storms, and a few may become severe..

Your 24/7 Synopsis:
Warmer and drier weather is on the way after another round of storms on Sunday afternoon. Temperatures will be above average by mid week, with readings in the low to mid 90s.

METRO DENVER:


Today: Partly cloudy with a chance of thunderstorms developing through the afternoon. Heavy rain and hail will be possible with some of the storms. Highs in upper 70s to low 80s.
Monday: Partly cloudy and dry with highs in the upper 80s and lows down into the low 60s.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy with highs reaching into the low 90s and lows again into the low 60s.

NORTHEASTERN PLAINS:


Today: Partly cloudy with isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 80s.
Monday: Mostly sunny skies with highs in the low 90s. Lows will bottom out in the upper 50s
Tuesday: Partly cloudy skies with highs in the mid 90s. Lows Tuesday night will hover around 60.

MOUNTAINS:


Today: Mostly cloudy skies with a chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 70s.
Monday: Partly cloudy skies with a chance of afternoon thunderstorms. Highs in the 60s and 70s. Lows will drop to around 45.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy with higs in the mid 70s. Lows Tuesday night will be in the mid 40s.

WESTERN SLOPE:


Today: Partly cloudy with a chance for thunderstoms in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 90s.
Monday: Mostly sunny skies with highs in the mid 90s and lows in the upper 40s.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Lows Tuesday night will hold in the upper 40s.
