There will be lingering snow showers in the Great Lakes and across New England Thursday afternoon.
For Colorado, temperatures will remain below normal through Friday. Look for highs in the 30s by Friday.Near average temperatures will finally return to our forecast this coming weekend. Denver has seen only one day of above average temperatures since the first of the month. It is a good idea to check your vehicle and make sure it is prepared for winter driving. Have the oil changed, make sure the wiper fluid reservoir is full and the wiper blades are in good shape. It may be a good idea to carry some blankets, extra food and water and winter weather gear in your vehicle as well, in case you become stranded. Also, remember your pets - those fur coats are not warm enough for indoor dogs or cats to be outside for very long!
