DENVER -- High level clouds will be in place along the urban corridor and the Front Range foothills this evening, and temperatures will be quickly cooling after sunset.

A weather system will bring cooler temperatures to the area on Sunday, with temperatures dropping into the upper 40s to near 50. There is a chance of mountain snow showers on Sunday, with snow possible around metro Denver by late Sunday and into Monday.

Much cooler weather will be in place by Monday. Afternoon temperatures will be in the upper 30s to low 40s.

The forecast for Thanksgiving looks warm and pleasant!

The two-week forecast from the Climate Prediction Center is for slightly above-average temperatures and near-normal precipitation for the Denver area.

This most recent storm brought Denver's precipitation totals to near normal for the month. The metro area is still almost three inches above normal for the year.
