DENVER, Colo -- It will continue as a typical mid-November week, with temperatures hovering in the upper 40s and low 50s. The sunshine will stick with us through Friday.A weak cold front moved through on Thursday, only cooling temperatures by a few degrees. It looks like the moisture will hold off for a couple of days. You'll find dry roads when driving across the state. Temperatures will be in the 30s for your high country drive, with mostly sunny skies through the afternoon.
In a few days, another storm system may move through the area, bringing a chance of snow for late Saturday into Monday. Right now, this storm system does not appear to pack the punch of the last two, but we will continue to watch it in case things get interesting. Right now, only light snow and temps in 40s for highs is expected with this system. The two-week forecast from the Climate Prediction Center is for slightly above-average temperatures and near-normal precipitation for the Denver area. This most recent storm brought Denver's precipitation totals to near normal for the month. The metro area is still almost three inches above normal for the year.
