DENVER -- Denver has seen above-average temperatures for what seems to be the better part of November. The trend will continue through Thursday as some locations will see highs close to the 70-degree mark.Do not get too acclimated to the spring-like temperatures, because wintry weather is tracking toward Colorado. A cold front is moving in from the northwest looking to impact Denver late Thursday night, cooling us down drastically for Friday and Saturday. A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for the mountains west of the Continental Divide for Thursday afternoon through Friday. A mix of rian and snow will become all snow and may become heavy over the western mountains late Thursday.
Snow will spill across the plains as early as Friday morning. Temperatures from Friday through Sunday will be about 20 to 30 degrees cooler. The storm will then settle in for the weekend, with chilly temperatures and periods of light snow.
