Genesee

    Golden
  • VOLUNTARY conservation encouraged.
  • Recommending watering twice a week between 6 p.m. and 10 a.m.

    Greeley
  • MANDATORY restrictions starting April 16.
  • Watering allowed once a week between April 16 and May 15. Odd number homes will water on Saturday, even numbered homes water on Sundays and businesses, apartments and HOA areas can water on Fridays.
  • Between May 16 and fall, residents can water twice a week. Odd number homes will water on Wednesday and Saturday, even numbered homes on Thursday and Sunday. Businesses, apartments and HOA areas can water on Tuesdays and Fridays. No watering on Mondays.
  • Can water only beteeen 6 p.m. and 10 a.m.
  • No new lawns can be installed between June 1 and Aug. 15.
  • Hand watering or drip irrigation of trees, shrubs, annuals, perennials, and vegetable gardens is allowed any day so long as there is no runoff.
  • Car washing at home is allowed only with a positive shut off nozzle and bucket.
  • First violation is $100 fine. Following violations ar $250, $500, and flow restrictor. Fines doubled for businesses.

  • MANDATORY restrictions starting April 17.
  • Odd-numbered addresses water Monday, Wednesday and Friday; Even-numbered houses water Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Residents can hand-water trees and shrubs as needed.
  • No time limits.
  • Other restrictions repealed so you can now install landscaping in a new yard as well as replace or add to landscaping in existing yards. Use a hose to spray off your house, windows, deck, patio, etc. Wash your car with a hose. Fill bird baths, pools and decorative ponds or fountains. Install sod.
  • First violation is $250; second violation is $500. Third-time violators could have a flow-restrictor device installed on their water pipe for one week.

    Lakewood
  • If you have Consolidated Mutual water .. you will follow Consolidated' restrictions (listed above under "Consolidated")
  • About 99.5 percent of Lakewood's water comes from Denver water, so if you have Denver water, you will follow Denver water's restrictions.
  • If you get your water from Green Mountain Water District, you will be on mandatory restrictions, with its circle, diamond, square schedule.

    Lone Tree

    Longmont
  • VOLUNTARY restrictions.
  • City recommends even numbered homes water Sundays and Thursdays, odd-numbered homes water Wednesdays and Saturdays, and commercial, multi-family homes and homeowner's associations water Tuesday and Fridays.

    Louisville
  • Previous water restrictions lifted after April 18. Residents can now water their lawns, wash their cars whenever they want.
  • Residents still encouraged to conserve, but no longer required to.
  • Water restrictions may be re-evaluated mid-June and twice-a-week watering restrictions are a possibility at the end of the summer.

    Loveland
  • MANDATORY restrictions beginning April 15.
  • Residents allowed to water every other day.

    Morrison
  • If you get you water from the Willowbrook Water and Sanitation District, you obey Denver Water's restrictions (listed above) since Willowbrook buys its water from Denver.

    Northglenn
  • ALL mandatory watering restrictions lifted July 15. But no watering allowed between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
  • Residents are encouraged to continue to follow the two-day per week outdoor watering schedule and time limitations.
  • VOLUNTARY SCHEDULE: Even numbered addresses water Thursday and Sunday. Odd addresses water on Wednesday and Saturday. Multi-family, HOA common areas and parks water Thursday and Sunday.
  • If you're using a moving rotating sprinkler you can water for 30 minutes. If you're using a oscillating sprinkler -- 15 minutes and if you use a fix sprinkler, then you can water only 10 minutes per zone.

  • MANDATORY restrictions starting March 1.
  • Odd-numbered homes can water Wednesday and Saturday, even-numbered homes water Thursday and Sunday. Mobile homes, multi-unit homes anc businesses water on Tuesday and Friday.
  • Trees and shrubs can be hand-watered on any day.
  • Watering allowed only between 6 p.m. and 10 a.m.
  • First violation is a warning. Following violations are fines of $100, $300, $500 and service cut-off.

    Roxborough Park
  • Currently no lawn watering allowed until May 1.
  • New restrictions may be announced after April 15, when Aurora will do it's snow read.
  • Hand-watering of trees and shrubs allowed only if the hose has a shut-off nozzle.

    Superior
  • VOLUNTARY restrictions. Mandatory restrictions lifted June 1.
  • Officials suggest that even-numbered homes water on Tuesday and Saturday, odd-numbered homes water on Wednesday and Sunday.
  • Residents not allowed to water between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
  • Hand watering or drip irrigation of vegetable and flower gardens, trees, and shrubs allowed.
  • Cars can be washed at home but only on one's watering day.
  • Permits for new sod, seed, turf being issued for a fee.
  • First violation is a $25 fine, second violation is $50 fine. All subsequent violations, fines increased in $50 increments.
  • After June 1, the only restriction is no watering between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.

  • No Watering restrictions

    Thornton
  • MANDATORY restrictions. No lawn watering until May 1.
  • Even addresses can water Thursday and Sunday, odd addresses can water Wednesday and Saturday. Multi-family, businesses and HOA common areas can water Tuesday and Friday. Only those with special permits allowed to water on Mondays.
  • No water allowed between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
  • Maximum time per zone is limited to 15 minutes for all spray sprinkler heads and 45 minutes for rotor or impact sprinklers.
  • Watering of shrubs and trees allowed with hand-held hose at any time.
  • Car washing allowed on watering day but only with bucket or a hand-held hose equipped with a positive shutoff nozzle.
  • Large outdoor fountains and waterfalls shall not be operated, and ornamental ponds shall not be filled, refilled or topped off, with the exception of ponds that require operation to protect fish that had been placed in the pond prior to September 1, 2002.
  • New sod and seed allowed by permit only.
  • Pools and hot tubs can be filled, refilled or topped off.
  • All outdoor misting devices, such as those positioned around outdoor eating and drinking areas, are prohibited.
  • First violation is $200. Second is $500, and then $1,000.

    Unicorporated Jefferson County
    If you have Lakehurst Water and Sanitation, your restrictions are like Denver's because Lakehurst buys Denver water.

    Westminster
  • VOLUNTARY watering restrictions. Previous mandatory restrictions lifted June 1.
  • Even-numbered addresses advised to water Thursdays and Sunday, odd-numbered addresses water Wednesday and Saturday. Multi-unit, HOA common areas and businesses advised to water Tuesdays and Fridays.
  • Officials suggest watering limited to a maximum of 15 minutes per zone for spray sprinkler systems (which emit a constant stationary spray or stream) and a maximum of 45 minutes per zone for rotor (or moving) sprinkler systems. In cases where watering is accomplished using a hose with a sprinkler attached that is moved from spot to spot, the same sprinkler type designations apply. In this case, the area covered by the sprinkler each time it is moved is considered a zone.
  • Water conservationists suggest that you not water between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
  • Hand-watering of trees and shrubs allowed at any time.
  • Waste of Water ordinance, which establishes fines for wasteful water use, remains in effect after June 1. First violation is a warning. Following violations will induce fines of $100, 300 and $500 with flow restrictor follow. Fines doubled for commercial areas.

    Woodland Park
  • MANDATORY restrictions
  • If your address end in 00-20 you water on Sunday and Thursday. If your address ends in 21-50, you water on Monday and Friday and if it ends with 51-99 you water on Tuesday and Saturday.
  • From now until September you can water from 7 p.m. to 9 a.m. only. After September, you can water from 4 p.m. to 11 a.m.
  • Flowers, shrubs and trees may be watered on any day, but only during the above designated hours.
  • No new planting, seeding or sodding of new lawns or turf grass allowed.
