The snowstorm is slowly spinning away from Colorado into Kansas, but it certainly has left a big pile of wet, slushy snow across central and southeastern Colorado.

Here are some of the latest numbers as of 10 PM.

  • 17 inches - Cuchara
  • 15 inches - La Veta Pass
  • 9.1 inches - Arapahoe Park
  • 6.5 inches - Bennett & Elizabeth
  • 6.1 inches - Evergreen
  • 5.5 inches - Littleton
  • 5.1 inches - Parker
  • 4.0 inches - Colorado Springs
  • 4.5 inches - Highlands Ranch
  • 2.0 inches - Denver
  • 1.5 inches - Golden

A Winter Weather Advisory continues across the eastern plains until 3 AM. Interstate 70 east of Denver will be icy in spots tonight and early Thursday, with areas of fog developing.

Downtown Denver did not see very much accumulating snow but the metro area did pick up nearly a half inch of moisture from this storm - we reported nearly .80" of moisture here at Denver's 7.

The heaviest snowfall was over the Wet Mountains and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. There was up to a foot and a half of snow at elevations above 10,000 feet. The Winter Storm Warning has now been lifted for the southern mountains, including La Veta Pass.

The storm will move out overnight, with gradually clearing skies. The weather will then slowly warm up and dry out as we head to the weekend.
