You've seen the effects of the drought in your home, on golf courses, playing fields and in restaurants that are cutting back on water service.
Now there is one Colorado restaurant that could literally fall apart because of the drought.
The Dredge Restaurant in Breckenridge floats on a pond and is connected to the shore by two bridges. It's designed to rise and fall with fluctuating water levels of the Blue River.
But, right now, the water level is dangerously low.
"The boat could be split apart, it could be broken. Also the bridges connect all our lines -- sewers, water, gas. It is all connected by these bridges so any break in that would also be devastating to us -- fatal," said Carol Rockne, owner of the Dredge Restaurant.
Should the restaurant fall apart, it would cost about $3 million to replace.
