Jessica Jamison joined the 7NEWS team in December 2002 as a weather anchor for 7NEWS weekend mornings. Jessica also reports on issues in the community. She especially enjoys environmental stories and breaking news.

Jessica began her career in public radio, giving daily news and weather reports at WOUB in Athens, Ohio. She later moved to Medford, Oregon where she learned to forecast for a varied climate that included beaches, mountains and valleys. She has most recently been a weather anchor near her hometown in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Jessica was drawn to a career in meteorology because she loves problem solving and is fascinated by constantly changing weather patterns. She has studied meteorology at Ohio University, Mississippi State University and Portland State University.

Jessica has earned television seals from both the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association.

Jessica and her husband live in Washington Park. They love the outdoors and are avid trail runners. Jessica also enjoys volunteering, backpacking, skiing, running marathons and traveling.
