DENVER -- March came in like a lion, or was it a lamb?

It's hard to tell when it's a beautiful 70 degrees one day and the next day you wake up to 5 inches of snow.

PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS

When taking a weather picture, try getting about 40 percent terrain and 60 percent sky as your subject.

Try taking pictures with a horizontal orientation instead of a vertical orientation. Think of your television set, if this is hard to visualize. In order to get a vertical picture on television we have to stretch it to fit the screen. In most cases this distorts the subject. You are still welcome to upload pictures with a vertical orientation, but we might not be able to make it work for television.

The best size to upload is 640x480 pixels.
