DENVER -- Calling all storm chasers! The 9th Annual National Storm Chaser Convention is coming to town Feb. 16-18, 2007.7NEWS is a proud sponsor of the largest gathering of storm chasers in the world, occurring right here in Denver. The three-day conference will be held at the Raddison Hotel Denver Southeast.The conference registration fee is $79 per person, which includes admission to the convention, all presentations and speakers, a continental breakfast on Saturday the 17th, as well as the Saturday evening banquet, featuring Dr. William Gray as the keynote speaker.
Convention T-shirts will be available for an additional $12.Please note that walk-in registrations are also available for an additional $10.If you are a storm chaser or just a die-hard weatherbuff, you will most definitely want to come rub elbows with some of the best in the field of meteorology and severe storm chasing.The impressive lineup of speakers awaiting you include Jon Davies, Dr. Josh Wurman, Tim Marshall, Tim Samaras, Dr. Greg Forbes, Dr. William Gray, Dr. Howie Bluestein, Dr. Walt Lyons, Don McCarthy, Al Pietrycha, Steve Hodanish and Mike Umscheid.If you missed last year, the Doppler on Wheels will once again be on hand for your up-close inspection.
