EB I-70 from Vail Pass to Copper Mountain reopens after multiple crashes

VAIL PASS, Colo. - Eastbound Interstate 70 over Vail Pass reopened Monday morning after officials cleared multiple crashes from the highway.

CDOT closed the road from the top of Vail Pass to Copper Mountain at 10:03 a.m. It reopened at 10:45 a.m.

Pictures from the scene showed heavy snow in the area.
