The chain law enacted Tuesday on C-470 from Santa Fe to Interstate 70 has expired.
That meant chains were required for all commercial vehicles.

Denver7 traffic reporter Jayson Luber says this was a rare move, but should give drivers an idea of how bad conditions were in the area.
The chain law was enacted at 5:47 a.m. and went on through the afternoon.
