Plans For HOT Lanes On I-25

I-25 in the AM
Entering: Between 5am and 10 am, direct access ramps from the regular lanes of I-25 to the HOV / Toll Lanes will be available south of 84th Avenue (north of U.S. 36) via left exit. Users may also enter the southbound HOV lanes in the morning from 70th Avenue.

Exiting: 19th Street (at Wynkoop Street) will continue to serve as an exit point to downtown Denver between 5am and 10am. Users can also exit the HOV / Toll Lanes on a direct-access ramp to southbound I-25 just south of the 20th Street bridge (near downtown Denver).

I-25 in the PM
Entering: Between noon and 3 am, the I-25 HOV / Toll Lanes can be accessed via ramps near downtown Denver on I-25 south of the 20th Street bridge. Also during this time, 20th Street by Coors Field will provide direct northbound access into the HOV / Toll Lanes.

Exiting: There is a direct access ramp north of US-36 that merges from the HOV / Toll Lanes into the existing I-25 general purpose lanes. Users will also be able to exit via direct access ramps at 70th Avenue or U.S. 36.

AM on U.S. 36
Entering: There is a direct access ramp from U.S. 36's HOV lanes near Pecos Street to the HOV / Toll Lanes on I-25. This ramp is included as part of the HOV / Toll Lanes project, but the HOV lanes on U.S. 36 west of Pecos are not being considered for conversion to HOV / Toll Lanes at this time.

Northbound to US 36
Entering: Between noon and 3 am, the I-25 HOV / Toll Lanes can be accessed via ramps near downtown Denver on I-25 south of the 20th Street bridge. Also during this time, 20th Street by Coors Field will provide direct northbound access into the HOV / Toll Lanes.

Exiting: There is a direct access ramp to U.S. 36's HOV lanes. This ramp is included as part of the HOV / Toll Lanes project, but the HOV lanes on U.S. 36 west of Pecos are not being considered for conversion to HOV / Toll Lanes.
