Berry Wants Teens To Wait Until They're 16 To Get Learner's Permit

DENVER -- The subject of teen drivers is on the agenda for Colorado lawmakers Thursday as they consider tougher laws to possibly prevent deadly crashes.Grand Junction Rep. Gayle Berry's proposed bill would make teens wait until they're 16 instead of 15 ½ for a learner's permit.Teens could still get a permit at the earlier age if they complete driver's education.
