September Is Busy Month For Finishing Construction
CDOT Wraps Up Over A Dozen Road Projects

DENVER -- September will be a good month for Denver commuters sick of driving through construction zones. More than a dozen road projects around the metro area will come to a close over the next few weeks.Some of the major projects that are ending include:Paving on Highway 119 near Blackhawk. Road improvements on Colorado Highway 5 on Mount Evans Wall construction and paving on Highway 285 in Bailey Paving on Colfax Ave between Kipling St and Sheridan Blvd Striping on 6th Ave between Simms St and I-70 Paving on Indiana St between 64th Ave and 84th Ave Signal work on Hwy 128 in Interlocken Bridge work on Quebec St south of I-70 Paving on Colfax Ave between Yosemite St and Peoria Ave Road rebuild on Arapahoe Road between Colorado Blvd and Holly St Paving on Parker Road near Stroh Ranch I-25 widening and a new frontage road between Ridge Gate Parkway and Castle Pines Parkway
Several other projects that won't be finished by September will wrap up by the end of the year.This will not be the end to construction as several more projects are just about to begin. The major project to start by the end of the year will be the bridge and road rehabilitation project on Highway 285 between Kipling Street and Sheridan Boulevard.To check out the projects in more detail and to see others around the state visit COTRIP.
