2 dead, 2 hurt in crash on Highway 119/Ken Pratt Boulevard in Longmont

LONGMONT, Colo. - Longmont Police are investigating a crash that killed two people on Highway 119/Ken Pratt Boulevard in Longmont.

Police said a Pontiac sedan and a Jeep Liberty collided Friday morning at 119 Street, near the old sugar beet factory. Police closed Ken Pratt Blvd. in both directions from 3rd Avenue to Martin Street.

Two people in the Pontiac were killed, another passenger has minor injuries, police said.

The driver of the Liberty has minor injuries, police said.

Highway 119 is a popular access route road for Longmont and Boulder. The road is expected to be closed for several hours for the crash investigation, police said.
