DENVER -- Denver's 7 is partnering with the district office of the Federal Communications Commission and other Denver television stations to man a DTV Walk-In Help Center on Monday, Feb. 16.The Walk-In Help Center is designed to help television viewers order converter box coupons or check on the status of previously ordered coupons.A "demo station" will be set up with televisions showing analog verses digital reception as well as ongoing demonstrations on how to hook up a DTV converter box.
Feel free to bring in your own converter box to go through the steps for hooking it up to a television.DTV handouts, in English and Spanish, will be available, as well as troubleshooting and set-up guides on how to hook up the box with a VCR in a way that allows viewing of one station while recording another station. Spanish speakers are welcome to attend as translators will be available. The DTV Walk-In Help Center will be opened from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Park Hill United Methodist Church, 5209 Montview Boulevard, Denver. This is due east of the Museum of Nature and Science, situated between Forest and Glencoe on the north side of Montview.
