JibJab Debuts 2006 Year In Review Parody

UPDATED: 9:20 am MST December 14, 2006

JibJab, the Web site known for its animated parodies, is out with its 2006 year in review.

JibJab is best known for its political parodies set to reworded popular songs. It made a big splash during the 2004 election with animated musical spoofs of President George W. Bush and Sen. John Kerry.

This parody is set up as a school concert with children singing and doing skits about the events of the past year. It is set to the tune of "Jingle Bells," although the words are so different, it is easy not to recognize the tune.

The two-minute video touches on everything from the fighting in Iraq and the E. coli scares to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's baby. Donald Rumsfeld, Dick Cheney, Tom Delay, Mel Gibson, Britney Spears, Lance Bass and Paris Hilton are also featured in the year in review.
