Mutton Bustin'
What: Five to 7-year-olds under 55 pounds ride a sheep out of a bucking chute and into the rodeo arena. Like professional rodeo events, time and score count, but it's really about how much fun it is. Anything goes, and usually does, as contestants cling to the back of thickly coated lamb as long as they can.

Family Friday Night
What: Kids can wear their favorite jammies and enjoy stories, a fun activity, and healthy snacks provided by local Whole Foods Markets. Parents can enjoy specials at the coffee shop.

Traditional American Folk Dance Performance
What: Join us for a toe tappin' good time! The Hoofin' High Country Cloggers will perform traditional Appalachian-style clogging.

The Best Tasting Green Chili Contest
What: The contest will take place in the enclosed heated patio of Steve's Snappin' Dogs. It will feature chili tasting by a panel of local celebrity judges, a live radio broadcast by Gabby Gourmet on KHOW 630AM and feature up to 20 area restaurants competing for the best tasting green chili in Denver. There will be free tastings for the audience and Steve's Snappin' Dogs plans to donate 10% of the store's daily sales to Project Angel Heart.

What: African-American scholar, historian, and activist Dr. Vincent Harding talks about the Civil Rights Movement.

Comedian David Alan Grier (18 and older)
What: One of Comedy Central’s “100 Greatest Stand-ups of All Time” Grier is well known as being a principle cast member of the acclaimed TV series “In Living Color,” and as a co-star on Bonnie Hunt's hit ABC comedy “Life with Bonnie.” Not to mention he starred on the hit NBC show “DAG” and on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.” David created, wrote and executive produced a show for Comedy Central called “Chocolate News.” He can currently be seen on Broadway in “Porgy and Bess.
