Microwave cooking is easy and convenient, but it can leave some foods rubbery or tough. A few new microwave foods ‑- a pizza, French fries and rolls ‑- came out tasty in Good Housekeeping Institute tests. The GH Institute was very impressed with DiGiorno Microwave Rising Crust Pizza. The first pizza to rise and bake in a microwave, it had a perfect texture and was ready in only five minutes.Tired of soggy French fries? The GH Institute recommends Ore-Ida Extra Crispy Easy Fries. These fries have a crunchy texture and cook in just four minutes.
Rhodes 60 Second Rolls go from dough to done in one minute. The rolls come in five varieties, but testers' favorite was Apple Cinnamon.
