DESCRIPTION: KMGH, Denver’s ABC affiliate, is seeking a journalist, preferably with an investigative background, who will break news and write enterprise stories for multiple platforms. Must be able to dig deep and uncover stories not already reported elsewhere, using various sources. Must cultivate sources, develop contacts and be adept at finding information on the Web. Will be required to make regular live appearances on television as a reporter or anchor, via traditional broadcast or Web cam. Must be able to blog from live news events and be able to write live on location using phone and wireless laptop. Will be required to shoot and edit video; write and produce for the newscast and on-line.

REQUIREMENTS: 2-3 years of experience required. Must respond well to breaking news -- reporting live on the air or online -- but must be aggressive at finding various angles to investigate or research after news has cooled. Must be able to flesh out tips and story ideas and produce in-depth content for other on-air reporters or for on-air program and be familiar with social-networking, preferably already using it to market stories as well as to develop story ideas.
