Description: The Part-Time Freelance Marketing Video Account Executive is responsible for prospecting new accounts and current A-List businesses for www.theDenverchannel.com, presenting to these businesses and selling the suite of digital products surrounding the Marketing Video initiative. This includes managing their assigned territory and developing a plan to contact all businesses within that territory. In addition, they will conduct follow-up sales calls on existing clients to communicate the effectiveness of the client’s campaign, up-sell new features and renew the contract. 100% commission; no benefits

Qualifications: • 2+ years sales experience in local media selling to small businesses is preferred. • 2+ years sales experience in selling other Business to Business products or services will be considered if the applicant has a proven track record of success. • Thorough, proven understanding of online ad formats and terminology is desired. • Thorough, proven understanding of PowerPoint. • Detail-oriented data tracking and reporting skills. • Working knowledge of Excel and Word. • Ability to communicate sales projects across multiple departments. • Candidates with basic understanding of mobile platforms (WAP and SMS) are preferred. • Strong verbal skills and professional demeanor are a must. • Bachelor’s degree.
