USA Pro Challenge 2014: Everything you need to know for all seven stages

DENVER - The week-long 2014 USA Pro Challenge begins on Monday, August 18.

During the seven days, professional cyclists will endure a 550-mile course through Colorado's scenic and metropolitan areas. Residents and fans will endure seven days of road closures and detours.

Here is everything you need to know about all seven stages:

Stage 1, Aug. 18, Aspen and Snowmass

Parking and roadside rules

  • Long-term parking on state highway right-of-way is allowed, but no more than 24 hours in advance of the time the race is expected to start.
  • Local authorities set rules for local and county roads, and rules may vary
  • All parking must not obstruct the roadway, access to private property or the view through intersections
  • Tents are considered camping and are not allowed. An awning for sun protection on race day will be permitted.
  • No campfires are allowed along state, county, or Forest Service highways. County fire restrictions will apply in other areas.
  • All pets must be kept on a leash and owners must clean up after their pets

How to watch the USA Pro Challenge on TV

  • Every stage will be broadcast on NBC Sports Network, except for the final two hours of Stage 7, which will be on NBC.
