ESTES PARK, Colo.—Tommy Caldwell, an Estes Park native and professional rock climber, has a long list of accomplishments to his name, including being the first ever to free climb the Dawn Wall of El Cap. But, he’s also been through some trying times as an athlete, overcoming injury and capture.
