The Broncos set a record for the fewest total yards gained by a winning team -- 194.

And the Broncos and Carolina Panthers set a record together for most sacks by both teams in a Super Bowl with 12.

There were five records tied, two by the Broncos defense.

Broncos linebacker Danny Trevathan tied the record for most fumble recoveries with two Sunday. Defensive end Malik Jackson tied for the most touchdowns on fumble recoveries with one.

One was all it took for Broncos wide receiver Bennie Fowler to tie the record for most two-point conversions.

Carolina Panthers defenseman Kony Ealy tied the record for most sacks in a game since 1982 at three. Super Bowl MVP Von Miller was credited with 2.5 sacks.

And the Broncos as a franchise tied the record for most Super Bowl appearances with eight.
