DENVER - There will be no tailgating allowed outside of this season's Super Bowl in at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, ESPN reports.
"You're not going to be able to take out a lounge chair, you're not going to be able to take out a grill and you're not going to be able to take up more than one parking space. And it'll all be watched very carefully," Super Bowl Committee CEO Al Kelly told ESPN.
The sports network reports that the tailgating announcement came during a Monday press conference regarding transportation and safety for the Feb. 2, 2014 game.
Kelly did tell the network that attendees would be allowed to eat or drink within their cars or next to their cars as long as they stay within their own parking space.
