Glendale, CO - The Raptors just keep right on winning.
In a friendly match against Park City Haggis, some new faces were donning the white and blue, but the result was the same as it has been in recent weeks. Glendale dominated Haggis, 67-24.
Phillip White recorded a hat trick in the second half to lead the Raptors in scoring, but everyone got in on the action. The passing was sharp, ball movement effective and defense stout. The majority of the regular starters for Glendale did not suit up as this match had no bearing on league standings, but the team maintained its cohesion and overpowered Park City.
Glendale Head Coach Andre Snyman said that he wanted this to be a chance for development for some of the players that don’t get to see the field as often, and through 80 minutes the Raptors only got better, finishing the game with a barrage of tries.
Pacific Rugby Premiership action returns to Infinity Park next Saturday for a rematch against the “visiting” Denver Barbarians at 3 p.m.
