DENVER - Denver Broncos wide receiver Eric Decker was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week, the NFL announced Wednesday.
The Broncos lead the AFC in Week 13, due in part to Decker's stellar performance Sunday in Kansas City.
Half the passes Decker caught Sunday went for touchdowns.
Decker had eight receptions for 174 yards and four scores.
Decker’s four touchdowns set a franchise record and boosted the Broncos toward their 35-28 victory over the Chiefs.
This is the third time this season a Broncos player has been recognized. Peyton Manning was named Offensive Player of the Week in Weeks 1 and 3 and Demaryius Thomas took the title in Week 10.
