DENVER - The Colorado Mammoth used four-goals from Jordan McBride to beat the Buffalo Bandits 16-13, Saturday night at the Pepsi Center.
The game was a rematch of the Mammoth’s 12-6 win over the Bandits on March 9. Then, a 10-player brawl broke out between the teams with 31-seconds remaining in the game.
The fighting continued as Mammoth’s Rory Smith and Bandit’s Steve Priolo dropped the gloves 9:22 into the game.
Colorado scored six times on the power-play, and twice more short-handed. The 16-goals were the most the Mammoth scored all season.
Colorado wore special green and white jerseys for St. Patrick’s Day. A portion of the auctioned jersey proceeds will benefit Kroenke Sports Charities and its support of lacrosse-related community initiatives in the metro area.
The win improves the Mammoth record to 4-7.
